The inaugural Great Causes Regatta will take place on Wednesday 15th September 2004.
There will be an option for teams to arrive during the night before, if desired.
EVENT PROGRAMME
The proposed programme/itinerary for the event is as follows:
Day One
5- 7.30pm Crews arrive (optional early arrival)
7.30pm Optional evening dinner (priced separately)
12 midnight Carriages - crews to stay on yachts
Day Two
9 - 10am Breakfast (priced separately)
10.00am Yachts depart
10.30- 12pm Crew training & warm-up race
12noon Lunch onboard yachts
12.30pm First race
2.30pm Second race
4.30pm Crews arrive back in Hamble for afternoon teas and prize giving
5pm - 5.30pm Crews depart at leisure
PRICING & GREAT CAUSES
CHARTER ENTRIES
The costs for a charter entry are as follows:
£150 + VAT per person (based on a crew of 10, and assuming that the team requires a charter yacht). From this total of £1,500, at least £250 will be donated to Great Causes.
Charter crews can choose between Beneteau 47.7, Sydney 40 and Reflex 38 yachts.
